take payments easily
Take payments by giving out your merchant ID for transfer from other accounts, or display your mechant QR code for users to scan. Authorized merchants can also charge customer connected RFID cards or wristbands using NFC enabled Android mobile phones, useful in transport or where small amounts can quickly be charged.
Disburse multiple payments to user wallets or send directly to bank accounts using Pesonet or Instapay. A disbursement module is available to set up regular payments on certain dates, and A REST API can be used to integrate into your own applications.
roles and member management
Each merchant account can set its own member types, including staff roles that can use that merchant account and administer it. Member roles (eg: Gold, VIP, etc) can be set to control access privileges in different app modules.
Extra modules are available in merchant mode, such as rewards, invvoicing, expense reporting and more.
Fees and pricing
There are no fees to create merchant accounts. Transaction fees are charged at 2% (or less depending on volume) of any incoming amounts. However if you have TAGX in your merchant wallet, this will be used instead at a rate of 20 TAGX per PHP. So for example, if you have 100 PHP paid into your merchant account by an individual user, 98 pesos will show in your account. If you have TAGX balance, then this will be used first to pay the fees, so 100 Pesos would show in your account, but 40 TAGX would be deducted from your TAGX wallet. You can offer discounts and deals for TAGX from your customers and this will cheaper than paying the 2% fee.
Tagcash is authorised as an Electronic Money Issuer (EMI) in the Philippines, and builds digital wallets for itself and other companies.
